The Strategic Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Boot Camp trains your HR team(s) to leverage data and forward-thinking talent strategies in their day-to-day. It aims at shifting your team from a “firefighting” mentality, to a more strategic and forecastable approach to recruitment.

What your team will learn:

1. Building a strong candidate pipeline

Master the Talent Acquisition Foundations through case studies and hands-on exercises. Learn techniques to source, engage, and select top candidates. This module emphasizes data-driven decision-making for recruitment that aligns with organizational goals.

2. Know when to use the right sourcing strategy

Pick from basic to more advanced and technical sourcing approaches to find the right candidates. Tap into passive talents, and experiment with boolean search.

3. Strategic mindset & stakeholder management

Guide HR teams to develop a forward-thinking, strategic approach to talent acquisition. Participants will learn to map recruitment activities to business priorities and measure impact through KPIs and metrics.

4. Keep candidates engaged with the process

Project a positive employer brand and foster great candidate perceptions from early outreach to negotiations and rejections.

5. Align Employer Branding with sourcing initiatives

Showcase your Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to the right talent audience with technics borrowed from recruitment marketing.

Investing in the Strategic Sourcing & Recruitment HR Boot Camp will transform your Talent Acquisition department into a high-performing partners to the business. Here’s how this training will empower your team and deliver substantial business value:

Cohort-based learning

HR boot camps are cohort-based programs. While you can enroll as many people in them, we recommend to split your learners into groups of 15 people max. This way, our Learning Consultants can better keep track of engagement and provide a more personalized support to their progress.

Self-paced core curriculum

Boot Camp members will have full access to the program’s lessons and will be able to complete them in their own time. While some will move faster than others, several checkpoints will have to be reached by the team before joining the live sessions.

Facilitator-led Live sessions

While the core lessons are self-paced, your cohort will go through several milestones and live sessions with the Boot Camp instructors. These help bind the group together, solidify the learnings acquired so far and prepare them for the final project.

Program management ensuring high completion rate

The AIHR team will continuously monitor your team’s progress and share updates and notifications to ensure high engagement within the Boot Camp cohort. Teams that have been through our Boot Camp have seen over 80% completion rate.

Real-World Application: Capstone project

Through a capstone project, your team will apply their newfound skills to simulate and solve real-world HR problems. This hands-on experience ensures they are ready to implement your learnings immediately.

FAQs

How do I enroll my team in a boot camp?

Given the tailored nature of a boot camp, we advise you to get in touch with one of our learning specialists to select the program that best fits your needs and learning objectives. You can grab a slot on their calendar or get in touch with Oisin via [email protected].

Please note that the boot camp is available as a program-management add-on to one of our team plans, and cannot be purchased separately. You can explore our team plans here.

Are there any prerequisites for the boot camps?

HR Boot Camps are designed to be inclusive to any HR Professional and do not have any prerequisites. We recommend a minimum of 1 year work experience in a relevant HR role, but they are made to still be as relevant & valuable for an HR professional with 25+ years of experience.

Is there a fixed schedule?

The Boot Camp is designed to help your team level up in the shortest possible time frame, given their learning goal and availability. During the onboarding session with your learning consultant, you will agree on a timeline and set fixed dates for the program kick-off, live sessions and graduation day. Before each live session, learners are expected to have completed a certain percentage of the online self-paced learning.

Is this program the right fit for my team?

An HR Boot Camp is the fastest and most effective way of closing a specific skills gap, or establishing a baseline of knowledge in your team.

The cohort-based learning on a predetermined schedule ensures that your team stays on track and engaged with the learning content. Our clients have seen increased completion rates, practical application of the learning content, and enhanced collaboration between cohort members. In addition, outsourcing the program management to our expert learning consultants has been a game-changer for busy HR leaders who want to maximize results and minimize their time investment.

In case you need help determining which boot camp is the right fit to reach your team and company goals, book a call with one of our learning specialists. Grab a slot on their calendar or get in touch with Oisin via [email protected].

How can I be sure that this boot camp will work?

In contrast to many other learning solutions, our boot camps prioritize practicality above all. We don’t just teach; we immerse your team in real-world scenarios. We use relevant examples, collaborate with amazing experts, and our curriculum is enriched with numerous exercises, case studies, and practical templates for when your team will actually apply it.

Our tell-show-do-apply learning methodology ensures that you not only gain knowledge through video lessons (tell + show) but also get ample opportunities to practice and apply what you’ve learned (do + apply). With a multitude of examples, we ensure that your team is well-equipped to tackle real-world challenges post-boot camp.

The end result is a practical project that will be implemented in your organization.
